Clear titles, pay upfront and a simple audition process. How to get better applicants, faster.

The best artists are selective about what they apply to. A clear, honest listing gets you better applicants, fewer irrelevant ones and less back-and-forth.
A specific title
“Female lead (24–30), Hindi OTT thriller” tells people instantly whether to read on. “Actors needed” does not.
Pay, dates and city upfront
Listings with pay get far more serious applicants. If the role is unpaid, say so — and say what you offer instead (credit, meals, travel, footage).
The role brief
- —Two or three lines on the project and its tone.
- —Who the character is, or what the crew role involves.
- —Any must-haves: language, dialect, skills, own kit.
A simple process
Tell applicants exactly what to send — a self-tape with a specific scene, a reel link, a rate — and by when. Use the “Apply by” date so your listing shows as closing soon.
Close the loop
Shortlist or pass on applicants from your dashboard. Artists are notified automatically, and shortlisting opens a direct chat. Close the job once it is filled so people stop applying.
Put it into practice.
Verified jobs, pay upfront, zero fees for artists.
