Terms of use

Last updated 14 October 2026

These terms are the rules for using ClapGig. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them. Please read them — they are short.

Who can use ClapGig

You must be 18 or older and able to enter into a contract under Indian law. Roles for minors must be handled by a parent or legal guardian.

Your account

Give accurate information, keep your password safe and tell us if you think your account has been misused. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Zero-fee rule

Recruiters must never ask artists or crew for money — no registration, portfolio, audition, training or “processing” fees, before or after selection. Breaking this rule leads to immediate removal and a permanent ban.

Posting jobs

Job posts must be genuine opportunities, describe the role honestly and include pay (or clearly say the role is unpaid). We may edit, hide or remove any listing that is misleading, discriminatory, unsafe or against these terms.

Profiles and content

You own the content you upload. You give ClapGig permission to display it on the platform so that it can be seen by people hiring. Do not upload content you do not have the rights to, or anything unlawful, sexual, hateful or harassing.

Safety

ClapGig connects people but is not a party to the agreements between artists and recruiters. Always check a production before you travel or share personal documents, and report anything suspicious. In an emergency, contact local authorities.

Paid features

Some optional features may be paid in future. Prices will be shown clearly before you pay. Applying to jobs will always be free.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms or put others at risk.

Liability

We work hard to keep ClapGig safe and available, but we provide it “as is”. To the extent allowed by law, ClapGig is not liable for losses arising from interactions between users or for any job, payment or outcome.
